CAPTION: Rayann writes: What a night again in Finnish Lapland! Although it looks like the 2 CMEs that were expected tonight missed our planet, eventually we witnessed some very pretty auroras. The night started quietly around 9 PM, with a faint aurora band above the northern horizon. For about 3 hours, this band grew and shrank, without much action happening. I did however get the opportunity to take a photo I had been dreaming about for quite some now: reindeer with aurora.
